Swix Marathon

Swix Marathon is a durable glide wax for long-distance races, long training sessions, and aggressive snow. The series is used when durability and consistent glide over many kilometers are more important than a fast short-distance finish.

For long distances and abrasive conditions

This hard wax works well as a durable layer in coarse man-made snow, cold conditions, and during races where the base is exposed to prolonged wear.

Solid or powder

• Solid Marathon is ironed in the traditional way and requires careful scraping and brushing.
• The powder form can make a hard wax easier to distribute and iron in evenly.
• Always follow the iron temperature and use a waxing iron with stable heat.

Build for the full race distance

If needed, combine Marathon with a temperature-specific top coat, but test that the layers work together before race day.
