For easier application, the block can first be dabbed against the waxing iron. Use a smaller amount than for normal paraffin waxing.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eVauhti specifies about 160 °C and 10-15 seconds of ironing per ski for the solid Vector product. Also check the product’s current instructions and keep the iron moving so that the entire glide surface is covered.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLet both the wax and the base cool completely. In a warm waxing room, the skis can be cooled briefly outdoors.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eScrape and brush carefully by hand with a brass brush or fine steel brush, then a horsehair brush and finally a nylon brush. Avoid heavy pressure.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCheck with a polishing cloth. The base should feel smooth and slippery.
